Free Diabetes education classes are available for 2018.  Diabetes 101: information and terminology, staying healthy tips for diet and staying active, and medication reviews.  
Classes are 2 hours long, spouses and family members welcome.
These classes are sponsored by Novo Nordisk but education is standard and free from bias.
